SUMMER CAMP 2011

2011 was yet another great year at Chagrin Valley Farm’s Summer Camp.  The parents of our campers tell us we’re “cheaper than daycare…and more fun!”  Eleven straight weeks at full capacity proves it!  A typical day at camp will have your child riding (of course!), learning how to groom and tack, participating in fun games with horses (painting & bathing, for example), as well as, with the other campers.  The week concludes with a fun horse show giving the riders an opportunity to showcase their new skills.  They’ll display their ribbons with pride & keep them as mementos of their fun times at camp.

We’re appreciative of the many volunteers who pride themselves on helping us run a first rate camp with safety and fun as our top priorities.  Thanks to Second Round Tack & Schneider’s Saddlery, we were able to award gift certificates each week to chosen camp assistants.  At summer’s end we celebrate the end of another successful year of camp and move right into our fall lesson schedule with additional students who are anxious to continue the riding career they started at camp!

Our satisfied campers and their parents eagerly anticipate signing up early for camp 2012.  Look for information in the fall of 2011 and make sure you don’t miss the opportunity to sign up.  Those interested in full day camp, in particular, will want to reserve their spots early.  See you next June for more fun at Chagrin Valley Farms summer camp!

Parent's testimonial:

I can't thank you enough for everything you have done to support and enhance my daughter's passion for

horses.  She just simply loves everything about the barn.  So, we hope to see you at the barn for lessons -

and of course camp next summer!  Last summer was probably the best summer ever for Alissa.
With much appreciation,

Barb "

"I am Anabel's dad and I just wanted to say that I really enjoyed the
experience by proxy that Annie had. The first day she was nervous but
after that, I have to say that she loved every minute of the
experience.  Thanks again and we will see you next summer. I think we want to do
the entire summer instead of just two weeks."
